Celebrating 20 years of giving: Thank you, Blood Donors
On September 18, 2024, the National Institute of Design, Assam, successfully conducted a Mega blood donation camp in collaboration with the Lions Club of Greater Jorhat within the Institute premises to celebrate “Celebrating 20 Years of Giving: Thank You, Blood Donors,” served as a significant milestone, highlighting the vital importance of community support and recognizing the invaluable contributions of blood donors over the years. The primary objective of this collaborative effort among various ministries and organizations was to collect approximately 100,000 units of blood from voluntary donors in a single day.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff, and students, who showed a strong commitment to this important cause. Through this initiative, the National Institute of Design, Assam, seeks to raise awareness of the vital need for blood donations and foster ongoing engagement in life-saving activities.
