A day-long Hindi Workshop on the topic ‘Official Hindi and Constitutional Provisions’ was successfully organized on June 19, 2026.
The primary objective of the workshop was to sensitize the employees of NIDJ about the statutory rules of the Official Language Policy and encourage the progressive use of Hindi in day-to-day administrative work.
Expert Speaker: Shri Shankar Shaw, Junior Translation Officer, ICFRE-Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat, served as the guest resource person for the session.
The workshop witnessed active participation from the officers, faculty, and administrative staff members of NID Assam.
The workshop concluded with a collective commitment from the NIDJ personnel to increasingly conduct official work in the official language.
