Observance of Vigilance Awareness week 2024
Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year during the week in which the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (31st October) falls in. The central vigilance commission has decided that this year Vigilance Awareness Week would be observed from 28th October to 3rd November, 2024 with the following theme:
“सत्यनिष्ठा की संस्कृति से राष्ट्र की समृद्धि”
“Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”
During this event, National Institute of Design Assam welcomed Mr. Shwetank Mishra, IPS, Superintendent of Police Jorhat, as a special guest for Central Vigilance Awareness Week. He delivered a session on “Culture of Integrity for National Prosperity,” emphasizing the importance of integrity and strategies for controlling corruption.
The Institute also organized a range of engaging activities, including a slogan writing competition, poster making, an E-pledge initiative, and a quiz competition. Additionally, several informative sessions were held:
- Conduct Rules presented by Mr. Rahul Saikia, Administrative Officer
- Procurement Procedures presented by Mr. Milon J. Hazarika, Assistant Administrative Officer (Purchase)
- Cyber Hygiene and Security presented by Mr. Vijay Kumar Rai, Assistant Engineer IT
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, followed by a valedictory session and a vote of thanks.
