“हिंदी भाषा नहीं भावों की अभिव्यक्ति है…”
On 14 September 1949, the Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi, written in Devanagari script, as the official language of the nation along with English. Later the Jawaharlal Nehru government, seeing the importance of this historic day, decided to celebrate 14 September every year as ‘Hindi Diwas’.
Hindi Diwas was celebrated with lot of zeal and enthusiasm on 14th September 2022 at NID, Assam campus. To mark the event, all members of the staff, students and faculty were welcomed to participate in the events and handsome cash prizes were announced to the winning entries.
