As part of the observance of World Blood Donor Day 2026, celebrated worldwide under the theme “One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.”, the National Institute of Design (NID) Assam organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on its campus on 12 June 2026 in collaboration with the Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital. Employees from various sections of the Institute participated in the noble initiative by donating blood. Light refreshments were provided to the donors, and the programme concluded with a group photograph.
