On February 6, 2025, the National Institute of Design (NID) Assam and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering collaboration in skill development and design education. This strategic partnership seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry, empowering students with the skills required to excel in the evolving design and skill sectors. The MoU will facilitate joint initiatives, including training programs, workshops, and skill certifications, ensuring enhanced employability and innovation within the design ecosystem.
